    ^(C)the wine dries up,
    the oil languishes.

¹² The vine dries up;
    ^(A)the fig tree languishes.
Pomegranate, palm, and apple,
    all the trees of the field are dried up,
and ^(B)gladness dries up
    from the children of man.
